As chief human resources officer, H. Levett Washington leads Sphera’s global human resources organization, overseeing talent strategy, leadership development, total rewards and workforce planning. He brings more than 25 years of global HR leadership experience across technology, life sciences and professional services. His vision for HR centers on cultivating an environment where employees are valued, supported and empowered to reach their full potential.

Meet H. Levett Washington
H. Levett Washington is Sphera’s chief human resources officer. His experience spans complex global HR operations, operating model design and workforce integration. He has also pioneered the use of AI and workforce analytics in HR processes to improve decision-making and business performance.
Before joining Sphera, Levett served as chief human resources officer and senior vice president of human resources at QAD Inc., where he rebuilt global HR operations and led post-acquisition organizational transformation. He previously held senior HR and transformation leadership roles at HCL America, IBM and Amgen.
Drawing on his deep expertise in global workforce planning, HR service modernization and organizational design, Levett will help Sphera continue to strengthen its global workforce to meet the evolving needs of its customers.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management from The University of Akron, with a focus in labor relations and human resources management.
Committed to giving back to his community, Levett serves on the Board of Directors for Path to Homeownership Dreams, Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing affordable housing access for underserved families. Outside of work, he enjoys playing golf, traveling and spending quality time with family.
