As Sphera’s founding President and CEO, Paul Marushka is responsible for providing overall strategic leadership for the company in developing, directing and implementing go-to-market, service, product and operational plans.
Paul has grown businesses by bringing innovative solutions to market in leveraging software, analytics and technology services. Prior to joining Sphera, Paul served as President of Marsh ClearSight, a business unit of Marsh & McLennan and a leading provider of software, services and analytics for enterprise risk management, safety and compliance management and claims administration. Paul also has held executive positions at software and data companies such as Fair Isaac Corporation (FICO) and CCC Information Services.
During his career, Paul has developed and launched a variety of software and analytics products recognized by the Gartner Group for their impact on the industry. He has authored numerous articles on the use of analytics and technology in decision-making and has spoken in a variety of forums including the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, the Gartner Technology Summit and the Risk and Insurance Management Society.
Paul has a JD from the Northwestern University School of Law and an MBA and AB from the University of Chicago.

Bob brings 25 years of experience leading high growth technology and service businesses. Prior to joining Sphera, Bob was the Chief Financial Officer of VeriClaim, Inc. since 2007. Prior to joining VeriClaim, Bob served in CFO and high profile roles at several high growth technology and services businesses including: Platinum Technology, Netigy Corporation, CoAMs, Inc. and Infogix.
Bob holds a B.A. in Finance and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Illinois, and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and is a CPA in the State of Illinois.
In his free time, Bob enjoys travelling, hiking, kayaking and scuba diving with his family.
Laura brings 25 years of Human Resource experience in technology, engineering and professional service firms. Prior to joining Sphera, Laura served as Director of Talent Management for Huron, a global firm providing strategy, technology and analytic consulting and technology services.
Prior to Huron, Laura held senior HR roles in technology companies such as CCC, Cyborg Systems and Videojet. Laura earned a B.S. in Psychology from the University of San Diego and M.A. in HR from Loyola University.

As Sphera’s Chief Product Officer, Mike Zamis leads all product management, development and marketing efforts. Mike is responsible for the strategy and development of Sphera’s next generation of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) software offerings. He has over 15 years of experience managing large product teams delivering software products across a wide variety of industries.
Prior to his current position, Mike was Vice President, Product Management for CCC Information Services Inc. and was focused on the company’s Auto Physical Damage solutions for both the Insurance and Automotive markets. Mike has also held a variety of positions in Technical Account Management, Product Management, and Program Management in the Mobile Devices business of Motorola, Inc. Before Motorola he worked at a project management consulting firm and, prior to that, he spent 10 years with a subsidiary of Duke Power engaged in selling and delivering engineering consulting services to the nuclear power industry.
Mike holds a Master’s of Business Administration degree with concentrations in finance and strategy from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He was also a registered Professional Engineer in Illinois.
Steven Griset, CTO of Sphera Solutions is a seasoned Silicon Valley executive who has extensive experience leading software development and architectural teams creating high performance SaaS and PaaS offerings in enterprise, telecommunication and mobile applications domains. Steven has over 29 years of diverse cloud and on-premise software engineering experience.
Over his career Steven has led teams designing and building several cloud based software solutions using a variety of open sources and proprietary stacks. These architectures were all based on the SOA model, highly available (HA), high performance and multi-tenant from the data model through the components. Prior to Sphera Steven was the Global Vice President of R&D at AVAYA. Prior to that he was Senior Vice President of Cloud Software Engineering, Product Management, Operations and Security at LiveOps. Steven has also held management positions at Sybase and Xerox.
Steven holds a Bachler of Science degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of California – Riverside.
As Sphera’s Chief Administrative Officer, Mark Stach is responsible for Corporate Development & Strategy and Operational Excellence in the execution of our strategy. In his role, Mark coordinates our Operations Leadership Team in the pursuit of continuous improvement.
Mark is a multi-function, C-suite strategic growth leader with over 25 years of experience in professional, marketing and technology services (SaaS) predominately serving the Risk Management, Insurance and Benefits Administration spaces. Prior to joining Sphera, Mark provided C-Suite management consulting to these industries and also held executive positions as General Manager for Crain’s Business Insurance and COO/CFO for Aon-Hewitt’s global consulting business.
Mark holds a M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a B.A. in Economics from Northwestern University.

Dave Yusuf is seasoned software industry executive with 20+ years of client services, business consulting, training/education, and support experience in leading public and PE-owned enterprise firms.
As Sphera’s Chief Services Officer he is responsible for providing quality service delivery and excellent product support to Sphera’s customers across the globe.
Most recently, Dave was SVP Services Americas at Epicor Software, a billion dollar PE-owned on premise and SaaS ERP software firm. He was responsible for profitable growth, customer acquisition and renewals, and successful service delivery for both on premise and SaaS ERP, CRM, HCM, and Mobile solutions. Previously, he was Group VP Services at Allscripts, a billion dollar provider of electronic medical/health records (EMR/EHR). Prior to this, he was SVP Global Services at CA Technologies, a $4.5 billion provider of Enterprise IT Management solutions.
Prior to CA Technologies, Dave raised $20M in VC funding to successfully launch and scale S3Networks, a security software and managed services provider. S3Networks was acquired by Solutionary, which was later acquired by NTT (Nippon Telephone and Telegraph). Previously, he led a $250M services unit at MCI. Earlier in his career he held variety of product management, IT operations, and design engineering roles.
Dave has an Electrical and Computer Engineering degree from Lawrence Technical University as well as an MBA in finance and marketing from Northwestern University.
Craig is an experienced sales leader with 30 years of technology industry success in sales, sales management, and operations in private-equity backed and public companies. Prior to Sphera, Craig was EVP of Sales & Business Development at Navicure, a private-equity backed provider of cloud-based healthcare solutions for physician practices, health systems, and hospitals.
During his tenure, Navicure experienced 300% all organic growth in revenue over five years. Prior to Navicure, Craig was the SVP of Sales & Account Management at Fiserv, a $6 billion revenue, publicly-traded provider of technology solutions for the financial services sector. While at Fiserv, Craig and his team had responsibility for over a $400 million book of business.
Earlier in his career, Craig held senior sales positions at IBM and Accenture. He received his B.B.A. in Sales & Marketing from the University of Georgia.
